- We need to get away from employer funded or individually funded plans and adopt the European model of government coverage for basic care.

- For what it's worth, I lived recently in the UK and received routine and emergency care from the Natl Health Service. I have nothing but good things to report as a patient myself or for the care that my family received (including braces for a son).
